Yes but most educated people would realize that you're ((black)) after they found out you're somali.

I go to a majority south asian highschool and the less geographically aware people thought I was south asian until I told them I was somali. Just because at first glance someone doesn't see you as black, doesn't mean they won't change their mind.

There is a lot to gain from associating with being black. In fact you'll get the best of both worlds, if you truly are a lightskin timo jileec somali. You won't receive the harsh stigma that darkskin timo jarear would receive.

While at the same time being eligible for grants and scholarships aimed for black individuals. One of such scholarships I'm working towards myself.

Same here. That black square thingy was so stupid. I’ve always supported local black businesses, but most are African owned. Sorry, but a lot AA’s stores either A. Don’t cater to my tastes. B. The customer service is terrible or sometimes both. I buy all my African clothes directly from Somali and Berber online shops. I give financial, historical knowledge, and advice on how to success to kids. I’m cordial and always treat them with respect. But blm is ran by whites. Plus, I’ve never seen blm or any pro-black American group advocate Somalis. The only time I can think is the immigration rights , but they seem to only focus on Latinos. Did blm, NOI, or black Israelites speak up for that Somali cop that shot that white chick ? Is Greta trying to get Europeans and Arabs from dumping toxic waste in the gulf of Aden ? The head makes a big difference. Chin, Jaw, Cheekbones etc. It ties the look together.
