@dhagax you mean virtualization?
I got my desktop which I never use. The specs on that are :
512gb gb Samsung Evo SSD
8x2 corsair ddr3 ram (16gb in total)
MSI GeForce 970 4gb
I7 4470k
My MacBook I use the most for general stuff, like watching movies or browsing the Web. I recently upgraded that.
8x2 ram ddr3 (16gb)
256 gb crucial mx200 ssd
I7 uhh forgot the exact model but I know it's a broadwell quad-core chip that runs at 2.6ghZ. Suprisngly the benchmarks for this cpu are still amazing even tho I got my laptop in 2012.
It has some sort of integrated graphics and a Nvidia 680m. I use the integrated video card 99% of the time because it eats up less battery and power.
My 2nd laptop I usually use for work or school or sometimes when I do more serious stuff. It's the legendary ThinkPad t420. One of the last good laptops they made over there. I just use it for Linux, programming and doing some network shit. It has almost the exact same specs as my mac book minus the dedicated card
