What makes Christmas special

This is my favourite holiday season. It is not a religious season but it a cultural one. The hymns, food and most importantly the snow really makes this an amazing season. I also like how everybody is in a good mood because it happens to be Christmas. What makes Christmas special for you guys?

The lights are very important. I also forgot the gifts. It's best when it's secret santa and people try and outdo each other. It's a dear season my lad. There is one major problem I face.. It does not snow in South East England.

We do secret Santa every year in my company. I don't participate it but I've been getting presents for the past 3 years now, one year I got Dior sunglasses, the next year I got $100 Macy's gift card, last year I got Jo Malone candles.

4 days offfrom work plus I love everything about Christmas the mall, decorations in streets, home alone 1,2. The lights in streets really everything expect I don't say that in front of my kids and the whole month I don't take them to the malls. Inshallah I want my kids to be Muslim. I just say Christmas is not for us.

I hate Christmas movies, mince pies, all the shops doing Xmas stuff when I need other stuff and so much more. I love Boxing day sales and January sales.

I like all the time off and funnily enough the food.

Aebbleskiver, risengroed and pepper noeder they don't have it here so I get nostalgic around the holidays.

I like all the lights and decoration too it makes me happy lol rly brightens up cold, soulless winters

i like the decorations and how kind and happy everyone is this time of year. i don't celebrate it or anything but the environment alone makes me happy. how the entire city just lights up and becomes festive over night. absolutely beautiful. one of my co workers ruined it by inviting me to church with her after i explained how much i loved christmas.....i told her to go choke.

I like the fact that it gets dark early and all the lights outside. I can't remember the last time it snowed on Christmas though.
