I have met very few normal mothers, most of them can be cruel to their kids, ive seen some punch 10 year olds in the face and then complain why authorities take their kids.

like the person above said, it's unlikely to be narcissism, that's too extreme. most are probably suffering with ptsd and stressed out to the max. think about how much their lives changed in the past 15-20 years
