What's Islam's judgement on transplant surgeries

Been curious about this topic for a while and thought I would share with and try to understand your points . So the question is can a muslim accept a liver transplant from a non muslim donar who used to drink alcohol.

Organ donation is halal in islam. And In the secnario you presented if there is no other option I think it will be halal because in extreme situations what is forbidden becomes permissible

If you're in need of an organ transplant, who are you to be picky.

I'm pretty sure in Islam, if something is going to save your life then it becomes halal. Like if you're starving and haven't eaten in a long time, and you're presented with pork, you're allowed to eat it.
