Reewin. Lixda Gobol ee Maayland unii leh!
I would advice them to rejoin Somalia. Many have already abandoned the dream of a independent Somalia.

Jokes aside i wish they could come to some agreement. I don’t think this SL project has any longevity we tried it didn’t work now we gotta come together and don’t let it resort to violence.

Because i will guarantee you other nations will fund each side of a conflict so we don’t rise up.

Old stubborn men can't seem to let go. They'll cling onto this idea of independence until they drown and they'll drag their whole region in with them.

If somaliland wants to have a future it lies within being an autonomous state within Somalia. No one is willing to recognize them and their political blunder of connecting with Taiwan has ostracized them from China. I just don't know if they're delusional enough to go another 32 years of begging and pleading for recognition.

Getting ones house in order means cleaning house. However, the guy in power does not seem the type to want to vacate. Maybe I'm wrong but he runs in the same circles as IOG.

They are on borrowed time. They arnt going to last long once Somalia is done with the AS problem. They are going to look north. No country will allow a large part of it to be hostile and succeed.

Its either we come to terms or we fight.
I dont want unnecessary death for isaaq people or any other Somali group.

SL whilst it still has the chance to negotiate it should. Im not delusional i know SL has no chance in a long term conflict especially when the arms embargo ends in somalia.

Honestly if that rumor of confederation was true they had the perfect deal right there. The issue is the old unable to reconcile their issues and then passing it onto the next generation. These guys don't have much time left and they should focus on building bridges, not starting further conflicts.

it's up to the elders to save the youth but if they refuse we will have to go in "operation sweep the idoor"

Either we sell our ports to Amxaars & or become an autamonous region in Somalia. Personally I'm fine with either options as long as Hargaysa is not directly ruled from Xamar. Quebec type situation you feel me?:drakekidding:

We would ask the Somalilanders but they haven't logged in since 25 August 2023.

There are huge preparations for a big war. It's not the army they're going to fight anymore but all surrounding clan militias. Mark my words SSC will meet it's end in 2024.

You already sold a significant stake in Berbera port to Ethiopia. Luckily, Ethiopia didn't fulfill the conditions in the agreement, so SL reclaimed their intended shares :wowsweat:

No one sold anything to ethiopia, DPW secretly tried to give away 19% of its stake to ethiopia may be due to an attempt to attract ethiopia trade into berbera, also the agreement has nothing to do with the ownership of berbera, DPW will pack their baggages up after 20 years
