What's up with Somalis & BBQ Sauce? My Experience:

This is something I noticed with somalis, you will never find a somali enjoying some BBQ sauce of any kind. In fact, it seems like we all find it disgusting. How do I know this you may ask, well I've interacted with many Somalis where BBQ was involved, cafeteria, restaurant, fast food. So I have some personal observations and conversations backing this up. But still, its strange, Somalis like other sauces, some will put Ketchup in their rice. Some will enjoy ranchy mayo on their pasta, including me but on rice. We even eat bananas with our food, but why, just why do we not like BBQ. I mean on a personal level, I don't really like BBQ, its too dark and I just really dont like the flavour. Its all to confusing, its a whole mix of spices, sugar, ketchup, mustard - It just doesn't go together. I mean one upside to us not like BBQ flavour is you will never ever find bbq camel meat, that would be pure horror.
What do you guys think? Im I just ranting for the sake of it or have you guys noticed this aswell. You know the entire reason Im making such a ridiculous post is what happened to me earlier today but I don't want to reveal my identity, but just know it involved BBQ.

I don’t mind bbq wings I don’t really eat bbq with anything besides that tbh.

I eat BBQ with wings, fries and salmon.

I also prefer to put BBQ sauce on my hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs.

I prefer hot sauxe but bbq hits in the right sandwiches, prefer taco mayo and a bit of hot sauce instead.

extremely suprising results, Im suprised that I got even 1 person who said they like BBQ sauce. Maybe its a minnesota somali thing, or maybe BBQ tastes better where ever you live. I mean Ive tasted multiple BBQ brands, Heinz, Sweet rays or something, Wendys, Lay BBQ flavored chips

on what? surely you arent using it on somali cuisine, right.. ? I mean maybe chicken Nuggets or wings. Whats better on wings is buffalo Sauce, not bbq. I really dont understand this, I shouldve made this post a poll to better represent the opinions. Maybe people who like BBQ just like interacting more or something. This cant be. I mean I dont HATE bbq sauce, thats reserved for sauces like mustard or relish. But its not a good sauce either, its below average thats what it is.

Composed myself: but I would first have to aquire BBQ sauce, which brand is the best one? I mean if you could replace BBQ with whitesauce in your sentence, that is what I call a good meal, put some salar some Liin like you said, Boom top-tier resturant level meal. But BBQ...? I mean the BBQ would overpower everything and not in a good way.

I wont criticize you for it though, if you enjoy it go ahead. But honestly, its bizzare, I have never heard about that combo. Ive heard about ketchup, ranch, sriracha hot sauce but BBQ. But I wont hate on it till I try it,

Idk if I can call it ranch, im talking about the white sauce you find at those resturants. Im pretty sure its light ranch with mayo or something. Ranch is hard to describe, just know it tastes good.
