Stop telling you what to wear and what to not wear?
My parents are different compared to my aunts and uncles who don't police their children's clothing. They are strict on the deen, so growing up and still, now I have to wear what is appropriate. There were days my sister and I would fight back and we wore pants, but my younger sister was next level she started wearing more revealing clothes and gave my parents the "idc" attitude. She kind of got away, and now is married and they dont really talk to her as much becuase weey "habarantahay " but I get attacked every day for what I wear I find this toxic behaviour. 23 years old and still being told what to wear.
I pulled out photos of my mother when she was young without the hijab and wearing pants and shirts/short dresses etc and she says her parents didn't teach her anything and that may Allah forgive them...
