When Somaliland signed the MOU, all the dormant MPs in the FGS suddenly became vocal about Ethiopia's presence. However, their criticism was nothing short of insults and slander. After they had finished with Somaliland, they turned their slander towards KGS, calling them “wecelo”, and some insults were also directed at the residents of “Hiiraan”State.

HSM spent the entirety of 2024 pretending to be the biggest Somali nationalist. He convinced everyone that Egypt would replace Ethiopia, yet he did the complete opposite. Abiy Ahmed now has his face plastered all across the capital city, he is the only winner in this whole ordeal.

Why must we always be outsmarted by the Ethiopians? It has gotten to the point where I feel like our fate is sealed like the Palestinians, in this dunya we will not see any wins.

I will always make this about HSM and those stupid politicians. Who told them to use words like Oromo & wecel to describe fellow Somalis if they were going to welcome Abiy Ahmed to the capital city in this manner?

I never once generalised reer Somaliland, etc. I’m well aware that many people in that region were against the MOU, and I’ve seen various videos. Do you not see the blatant irony? I would respect these politicians more if they made these comments and showed the same contempt towards Ethiopia. Who do they think they are, inviting Abiy Ahmed to the beach when the people of Xamar still haven’t forgotten the Ethiopian invasion? If the FGS expects Somali citizens to be nationalistic, then they should act like a government. HSM is a glorified mayor of Mogadishu.
