How come in every fundraising it's only the Somali women paying money. It's always the Somali women collecting money, giving money, buying houses. What happened to the Somali men. Espicially the religious men.

The thing is...the Somali women are in a "hunting mode". They create all sorts of "fundraising" events, "community" events, crash every wedding, crash political rallies that has nothing to do with them, like Kashmir or the Palestine-Israel rallies. They were even involved in the Kony 2012 nonsense. They do all these because it's the best way of getting a soulmate. It's their chance to put themselves out there to be noticed and in hope of being approached.

Somali men or men in general don't have to put themselves out there to be noticed.

They do it to socialise and escape the guri.
Somali men are charitable, perhaps they're kinda discreet.

lool thats a hell of a reach. how do you correlate being charitable to wanting to be noticed by men.:umwhat:
i would say that we have a little bit more sympathy than men so we are more willing to be charitable. or at the very let be more proactive and raise the funds ourselves.
if the men aren't putting themselves out there as you said, then who are the women trying to be noticed by.

It is by nature for women to advertise themselves so they can be approached by men. You can be charitable, be more sympathetic and proactive, but that does not negate the fact women, especially Somali women in this time and age are competing against one another in attracting the most suitable bachelors. There is nothing wrong with that, as long as they do it in a Islamic manner, and not wear tight dresses revealing their figure or whatnot.
