Somali culture is hospitality, great food, respect fo your elders, strong family connections, generosity etc etc... There's both good and bad stuff in our culture.

That's anecdotal. Generally somalis respect their elders and it's not just because of religion. When it comes to traditional clan society elders have a lot of respect

This is why Somali will always be a shithole. Religious orthodoxy holds everyone back. I mean look at Alabama vs the rest of the US for instance even Turkey is more nationalist than religious which is why they’re rising in power very quickly
