Clinton isn't the same as Obama when it comes to foreign policy. She's a lot more militaristic and interventionist. Remember her husband send a lot of troops to Somalia, but the ungrateful attacks by Hawiye warlords made them pull out. She might have a bone to pick with Somalia and restore the unfinished business similar to how elder Bush pushed his son into finishing off Iraq.

Somalia is being fingered by all those that are spending their resoucers on rebuilding it.
The last thing Somalia needs is a strong leader that will be assertive thus scare away the international stakeholders that are conducting the current state building activities for Somalia. So for this reason Somalia needs a weak and unassertive leadership that will keep the big dogs on the international stage happy enough for them to continue rebuilding Somalia.

Hillary Clinton would be the best thing Somalia could have.

Tbf the question was 'who do you think would be best for somalia', and is centred around their likely foreign policy decision, not 'who is going to fix us'. A lot of people around the world will be watching the us presidential elections with a view to how their country is likely to be effected by it.

The last part of Cruz's quote is even more ridiculous than Trumps statement. "what is best for America is best for the world."

Clinton!! Her husband sent a 'dead or alive' warrant for several hutu warlords. When she was secretary of state, Puntland was eating good during the dual track policy. Unlike all the other candidates, she dealt with alot of current leaders like Gaas, Madoobe and XSM.
