If you actually do your research on Somali history, you would know that not all of Somalia was colonized but a mere protectorate and colonization in the south was something nominal and insignificant until the facists Italians took power which only lasted for 14 something years. Before the facists, Colonization was only restricted to the southern coasts and Somalis in the interior were ruled by their local clan Sultans.
