If you're a conservative (or fake conservatives like the Ontario PCs), it's a witch hunt and they wait for you to arrive back at the airport to shame you infront of your family and fellow travellers. What they did to Rod Phillips was an ambush. He was totally caught off guard but I knew there would be dozens of reporters to greet him. He should have got off at another airport and driven home.
The fake conservatives have bush league political advisors that are inferior to the Liberal machine. The Liberals had way more of their politicians going on vacation but they're smarter: they admitted right away and released a press release on a weekend and Trudeau went into hiding so obviously there is nothing to report. Doug Ford went in front of the cameras during prime time television sweating like a pig begging for forgiveness and changing the story. Political amatures.

His own party has been the biggest offender but he has come out of hiding to condemn vacationers and says he will close a loophole that allows people who left the country to get the $1000 sickness benefit. He quickly washed his own hands and joined in the country's uproar. He hypnotized everyone. No one knows he did anything wrong.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government is making changes to the $1,000 sickness benefit, closing a loophole to make sure anyone who travels for non-essential reasons will not be able to access it to cover the cost of their quarantine upon return to Canada.
