I agree with what Tariq says in this video. When Ray Rice or other black men harm black women, they get justified persecuted by the divest black women.

But it gets wrong when they drag every black man as if they all do this.

And he raises a good point, when he says why are the black feminist, divest and the me-too movement silent when the perpetrator is white.

Is it cognitive dissonance or is it an agenda to disrupt the black family?

Regardless of the colour of the abuser it should be condemned. Especially in this scenario where he’s beating her to bow down to him that’s basically saying I own you. Because I am White I am superior to you. That’s blatant racism white supremacy

Then why isnt the media covering it all week like they do with black athletes. Is it because that they want to uphold the mirage that now Biden is in office that racism is gone now🤔

The media just wanna villianze the black man. You best believe if this was a black athlete or black celebrity with a black or a white girl this would be all over the news. The media has a bias unfortunately.

The only time they temporarily defend the black man is when it’s police brutality like George Floyd but that was only for like a day or two. They just temporarily hop on the Bandwagon and then bounce

At least the media show black men as black men. Black women have essentially been erased. They have been replaced by mixed women.

No one would try to say Jesse Williams is the face of black men, but they will try and convince us that Alicia keys is.

Beyoncé,Michelle Obama,Serena Williams,Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey etc you’re saying these women aren’t portrayed in the media as the face of black women?

C’mon now I know there’s a colorist agenda by the media but to say they’ve erased black women for mixed is kinda harsh. That’s coming from someone who despises the media

Beyonce- not the typical black looking woman, she's mixed Creole who has in fact bleached herself into oblivion.

Rihanna- same as Beyonce and not American.

Serena is often compared to apes and monkeys and her own men routinely join in the insults due the fact that she looks like a non ambiguous black woman.

You and I can name 100 non ambiguous black men. The face of blackness in America and the UK is the original black man. Sadly, i can't say the same for black women. Its even worse here in the UK.

I only realised this when black women started their own natural hair movement, after a while the face of the movement became big curly haired mixed raced girls with curly 3b hair. I remember thinking wtf, you lot don't face hair discrimination!

Black women are visible in news media to be honest, and they hold more political power than the black man.
