Who's wrong in this situation?

A couple told themselves that they were done with the world, they wanted to die together so they decided to jump off a high cliff. The husband told the wife on the count of 3 we will both jump. When he reached 3 he stopped and the wife jumped but she had a parachute and floated. So who betrayed who first and who's wrong?

Obviously the woman. She pre planned this betrayal. The man may have been willing to jump with her but hesitated.
