Why is the price to buy 1 plot of land so expensive for some reason, why is it 3000$ for a boos thats a fraction of an acre in a country like somalia. This is Somalia we are talking about here why?? Im better off Backpacking to some remote region and Staking the land poles for my self then Engaging with this scummy crap. The government is not present at all

In america for 65k you are paying for the land value, the scarcity supply and demand.. All the land in the United states has been claimed for some time now, so you have supply as one factor in the increased prices. In somalia, it does not have this factor. Secondly, you also have land value you get social and government services provided to you which also increases the cost of the land. Somalia has none of that. You must also consider access to utilities, the land has easy access to utilites like water gas and electricity hooked up to the property increasing the land value.. Last but the greatest point is the country itself. America and somalia dont compare... The land of the house would cost 65k in america and you can build a new 4bedroom home for 150k, while the rest of the houses on the block are selling for 300k... In somalia why should I pay 3k a fraction of land ?? Its a massive hyper bubble being fueled by misinformed buyers like you who come from america and artifically increase the price with no research. You of course think its a good deal, but its not. You have essentially given them 3000 dollars for tiny piece of land, no utilities, outskirts of the city, no services, the land is just desert no jobs no nothing Im telling you 3k is a scam. The area of somalia is 246,201 miles square... Lets subtract 100,000 miles for rugged unuseable terrain and not to mention all the land taken by other countries... with them somalia would be aprox. 1.2million sq miles (I calculated this beforehand in my free time) Now you would have 146,201 miles square. That is aprox (rounded up) 100,000,000 acres of land. Lets say that population of somalis all around the world is 35 million, lets take 2/3 of this since others may settle in the other occupied regions of somalia so that is 23333333 people... That is aproximately 4.2 Acres for each person that is crazy isnt it that is around 50 boos ! and keep in mind I took away 100k acres + all the rest of the occupied somalia can you believe this statistic! Im telling you its an inflated market and + I was extra heavy on the numbers just to prove to you how bad it is

Because every diaspora somali has been sending money to buy land. Demand and Supply basic economic. The problem is- they are buying land in a desert. Usually people buy land in cities so they can live. In Kenya- they already ruined the real estate. In Turkey forget it - the ruined it in one year.
