Why Are Residents of SL Supporting Daacish Over PL Forces?

I cant answer back to you all, but lettme ask you one question, if isaaq are terrorists then why there is no terrorist activity in isaaq territories?
Never been taken over by terrorism since 91. A couple odd attacks in the late 2000s and nothing since. SL police force :salute: if Somali people are hating that means you’re definitely doing something right.

Somalis don’t like accountability. Some people on here blocked me because I said Mumin was initially left alone in the area with a small group of fighters due to clan.Well, now you have it from the horses mouth:

but it’s muh isaaq and Oromo fault 🤣

Its America that needs to be accountable for its actions. Anyone who reads about what the history of terrorism in Somalia would know that terrorism is pretty much a foreign made phenomenon. It did not exist in Somalia whatsoever prior to the Ethiopian invasion, even during the peak of the civil war in the 90s (and no, Al-Itihaad weren't terrorists). Al-Shabab was empowered further by the illegal Kenyan 2011 invasion too.

That is why the north doesn't have terrorism, they weren't invaded and radicalized like the south was.

This is a different discussion. We were discussing people blaming isaaq for Dacish when it was established by a local.

Its related. Dacish like Shabab are foreign made problems. People willl wrongfully accuse Isaaqs or other clans for qabilyaad reasons.

Somalis also have agency and we have to have a balance between responsibility and outsider blame. As the elder said in the video I posted, Mumin came with 30 armed men and some elders advised to leave him alone as he was a “a man in his region”. Then you also have the issue of undocumented people just roaming around Somalia. These are things which can be fixed irrespective of how Dacish started or US foreign policy.

There is a cultural flaw in somali thinking if a man such as Mumin can settle amongst his sub clan because of sharing an ancestor or the money he came with. I think we let elders get away with too much and their influence exceeds their intelligence/knowhow. A similar mistake was made by dhulbahante on a larger scale when some politicians/so-called elders started dealing with SL.
