Somalia has a 6,000 man strong police force and yet there is nothing done about these these open and flagrant abuses.

Why are our security forces so incompetent whereas AS was able to completely pacify a city as large as Kismayo with only 80 Police Officers. Smaller tuulos like Ceel Garas only need 15 police officers. Obviously AS is a satanic organization and this is not meant as praise towards them but rather a striking indictment of the incompetence of the FGS

The Hisbah officers only get paid 100 USD a month just like FGS officers so what seperates them from the FGS officers

also police numbered 14k in 2020 with the fgs saying they would recruit 40k in 2023 so i'd say at least 20-30k

The problem is with the system that was agreed in Djibouti in 2000 that legalized clannism in the political system as if people in Somalia were from different faiths or sects or ethnicity and that have led us to see what we're seeing now in Somalia a nation with no real govt or institution

The south is very fragmented compared to Northern Somalia, the Dir have fragmented into their own subclans, some being absorbed by Ogadens and Isaaq(who split from Dir even earlier.) and PL(not familiar with PL.)
