Why are suicide common in first world countries

Despite having acces to everything yet their suicide ranks have reached the sky,

A: it is because of the lack of imam which 3 world countries has

B: because of phones (its proven that you can get depression or major problems in the brain afters spending many hours)

C: unlike the west world, other countries like in south asia, africa strive to the next day so they can feed their children their old parents, so they have no time to sit and imagine their lifes, cuz they have the mentality of ”if you have time to sit and drink Tea, you have time to earn extra 1 dollar for your family”

They're unhappy because life is not about material wealth. The biggest thing to human happiness is the ability to be around other people, humans are social creatures. Most people in the West are lonely and that's the damage from an individualistic society, whereas people in poorer countries are part of a community, literally neighbours or living with their entire family members or extended relatives, you are never alone to handle everything.

The country with the highest suicide rate is Japan and its the country where everyone is isolated from human contact.

It's sad but that's the cause of all anxiety and depression, when your around people all the time you have no time for negative thoughts.

To add on, the name of Allah is An Nur. Shaytan on the other hand operates in darkness. The figurative light of Allah is the deen of Islam whereas the figurative darkness of Shaytan is kufr, superstition and idol worship. What this means is that the balanced (not extreme) application of Islam is something that makes your faculties and your approach full of light. This is why the believer by his nature is optimistic because the beliefs that he has tied in his heart (aqaid) and the muamala (actions of worship) produce that light in whatever situation he might be in. The kaffir, unfortunately, is left in utter darkness compounded by the fact that his uncleanness and absence of remembering Allah attracts a being of darkness that is his existential enemy ( Iblis and the shayateen)

Allah is the Guardian of the believers—He brings them out of darkness and into light. As for the disbelievers, their guardians are false gods who lead them out of light and into darkness. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever

Very good points made above, especially what @MuslimManMe has mentioned. I think being in a state of najis will play some part in one feeling depressed or suicidal, but not fully. I think it will become very severe once they cannot cope with the mental illness anymore, which is why you see such individuals struggling to brush their teeth, bath, tidy after themselves, etc. On the other hand, I disagree with him because there are cases of non-Muslims being in a state of najis, whilst having an interest in Islam - even to the point of conversion. It is ultimately the mind & how one processes their thoughts that truly affects their actions.

My personal reasoning for why people may take to suicide is because although they may have a stable job & infinite resources, such as air & water, they haven’t reached the stage where they establish meaningful relationships. Let’s keep it real, many people in the West are friends with people out of convenience & what they can get out of them. Once they are no longer of use, they are disposed of, keeping the individual lonely & left to the dust. They haven’t solidified their self esteem & look towards others for approval, leading to not giving themselves the true credit they deserve.

Just my thoughts:
1) Atheism is on the rise. People in 1st world countries are turning away from God. So they lack spirituality. For example UK atheism population is at roughly at 35%
2) People in 1st world country are very materialistic it’s like an obsession. They’ve been brainwashed to believe money is the cure to all problems. “Money buys happiness”
3) Mental illness like Depression, anxiety is on the rise in western countries. Social media is partly a factor
