Why can’t gaalo say the Somali letters C and Q

We were chilling at work me and 3 other dudes. One black, one mixed and one Eastern European. Out of nowhere one asks how do you say Friday in Somali and I say Jimco

Now is where all the fuccery starts. Next 5 mins these 3 fools trying to say jimco and they tried everything couldn’t get the C sound. Jimo or jimkho and everything except jimco. Then I thought ok say Q in Somali and nope they couldn’t. What’s wrong with them?

Why do you think that? Is it letters you have to learn as child and if it’s not in your langoyoubcant learn as adult?
those letter need more practice just like the letter dh. learning them as a child is way easier than an adult. C X Q DH are harder for non natives compared to "default"letters you find across many languages like S SH CH etc.
