2 months ago l spent a full three hours trapped inside our buildings malfunctioning elevator with a fellow white building resident. The whole encounter was comical because the pretty white lady had a meltdown since help took a while to arrive. It’s crazy how white people love life even though we all can drop dead any minute. I did my best to keep her calm but had no success. It’s not like it was the end of the world. All we had to do was sit tight till the technicians arrived since it is part of our building policy to call the them before calling the fire department.
