The present estimate of Oromos in Somalia is at least 500,000. I'm using an estimate not a exact figure that I gleaned from various sources.
By in large they are concentrated in the north; Puntland, Khaatumo and SL.
Why they want to live in arid Northern Somalia when their Oromia is lush, fertile and green is a question that every Somali should be asking.
Some Somalis may benefit from cheap maids and cleaners. But I believe their agenda to be sinister and an existential threat. Which is why I advocate for their deportation. Sl periodically puts them on trucks and drives them out but this is just arbitrary. There is no widescale organized deportations anywhere and this needs to happen.
I want to draw your attention to the table below. It is the population of Historical Palestine.
The Jews came in boats in the 20s and 30s; they came as 'refugees' as 'friends' fleeing persecution in Europe. By 1948 they were 33% of the population.
That same year they declared the 'State of Israel' in May 1948 and then started a 'War of Independence'. A war the Arabs lost and which then Jews then drove them out. Which the Arabs call the 'Nakba' (The Catastrophe).
This cannot happen in Somalia.
