Words are good and all but they mean nothing end of the day. If FGS cares so much about Somaliland they need to:

1. Come to an agreement with all FMS on a permanent constitution and framework for how Somalia will be governed in the future
2. Defeat AS or at least significantly weaken their capabilities (wipe them out of central Somalia, contain them to middle Jubba).

Until then words and negotiations are pointless. Somalia’s concern with Somaliland should be preventing them from getting recognition but you can’t do that through words alone lol. You need to actually build something for yourself before you try to tell others what to do in their house.

Constitution is very important. It’s the social contract that binds the country together. It lets people know what services will be delivered by what levels of government. It provides legal mechanisms to solve disputes between states. You can’t defeat Al shabaab with bullets alone. You need to show that you offer a better alternative, and having a finalized constitution figured into that.

Now, you can’t finalize a constitution without the agreement of all major stakeholders. That’s why what HSM is trying to do is absolute madness.

Because Deni makes sense, he wants to see the things you mentioned be done first, but ones like madobe are just stubborn. It’d be good for any leader to create a somalia which includes 5/5, even if it’s under a flawed constitution which I am against myself, fixing it can come after.
