we all know Mogadishu has serious security issues and Farmaajo is in desperate need of security experts who can help him bring law and order. Well one man who can fit the bill is General Morgan rightfully or wrongfully for 3 reasons:
1. Morgan knows how crucial security is if a regime has to succeed as he worked under the kacaan. He was the man who dismantled SNM is hargeisa in 1988 and make them loose the grip until 1990 when they resurfaced again.
2. Morgan was the man who flashed out the hawiye militia from the jubba regions all the way to barawe and since al shabaab are pretty much similar to hawiye militias of 1991 ( ragtag militia) then he knows deal with them.
3. He is known to be a man of less talk and more action. This currrent regime needs a man of that caliber to bring back sanity and the discipline needed in the security force.
If he cant be appointed for political reasons then atleast his expertise is needed behind closed doors.
