The problem is society diminishing women's disagreements to be fueled only by jealousy and competition for our looks.


I don't use Instagram but my housemate just showed me the girl whose lash was ripped saying, they didn't see it a problem when they posted it until she got all these dms and followers. Then the other girl got mad and when they met up to clear things, her sister started the fight. If the scenario was changed to two teenage boys, things won't have gotten this far.

I like that explanation, however one thing I’ve noticed is Somali girls go hard against eachother online for the smallest of things like eyelash girl. Most of Twitter and Tik Tok where there is a more even gender ratio you find that the majority of those retweeting commenting and making jokes against the girl and sharing it are female, and a disproportionate amount of those who hunted her down and doxed all her info were again Somali girls. When a Somali dude gets exposed for something online you don’t see the Somali dudes going hard against that person, again it’s Somali girls going hard against that male.
