Look at Nigeria and Ethiopia so many different ethnicities Igbo Yoruba, Amharo Oromo and they have some of the biggest economies in the developing world, Somalis are one ethnically homogenous group of people (which is unique in africa), living in one country, with the same culture, same religion and same language and yet are the most divided people in the world. This can only be explained by low IQ.

I reject this hypothesis. Rarely do you meet a somali who isnt astute or smart in some way or another.

This man is a perfect example of the issue in Somalia, he refers to Somali Bantu as "canon fodder" the truth is there is to much hatred between different tribes and regions. Somalia will never prosper till it let's go of qabiil or put qaran first

Somalia is not ethiopia's fault, but Somalia's alone. Nobody put a gun to Siad Barre's head, telling him to cling onto power and indiscriminately bomb his own people.

Mengistu would have never stopped destabilizing Somalia even it became a democratic one in the early 80's. So yes, I blame Mengistu and his puppets for the current situation where they turned somalia into a playground for foreign nations

I can never support the mindset of 'we must eliminate all individuality for the sake of peace'; why not set higher standards and aim for both?? Respect everyone's desire to identify as they wish but also ensure that equal rights are maintained. (Edit: yes, ik, it's idealist and much easier said than done)
