Why Israel (jews) should invest in Somalia

Somalis have for a long time had unfound or unjistified hate towards the jewish nation but this can be turned around. An Israeli and jewish investment in Somalia would bring very positive end results for Israel in the long term as well as strengthen the bilateral ties of the two nations.

The somalis are in desperate need of the Israeli expertee in the medical, military, economic and agricultural fields and Israel can use this opportunity to dislodge the Somalis from the Arab wings.

Israel should invest in Somalia for these 2 good reasons:

• A strong Somalia with good economic and military capabilities lead by Nationalist party would be a good balance against the Arabs and favour Israel since they have invested largely and by doing that they will likely win the public support. Israel can also use their influence to counter any threat from the yemeni pro Iran.

• Israel is facing water shortage and if it invests in Somalia especially in the agricultural sector, it will guarantee food security for the Jewish people for decades to come.

The Somalis in the diaspora should start making close ties with the Jewish lobby groups such as Aipac and Adl in the west to expand the future relationship with the Israeli state.

Absolutely the land should be Somali owned and shall remain so but with that in mind no one would invest billions without getting anything in return. Joint ventures are the best way to ago about it. I seriously think Somalis would benefit more than anything from such investments.

Israel is also a leader in seawater desalination and that technology is very much needed in Somalia as it will drastically reduce the dependence of rain water.

There are a lot of countries that can offer what Israel can but you chose Israel because you believe Jews have a lot of power and run things using lobbies like AIPAC. That's anti-semitic behaviour.

I agree that Arabs don't do much of anything meaningful for Somalis but it's a bad idea to alienate the entire Arab and probably also Muslim world for Israel. You've gotta geopolitick, man. Israel is more useful for development for sure but it's not a good idea to become cozy with one nation in the Levant and alienate every other nation that neighbors us except for like Eritrea and Ethiopia which would stand for us being Israel's ally.

That shit can come back to bite. We will forever have to make sure shit works out with Israel, for example and butt shake for them if need be because if we lose them as an ally; there can be no going back to many of our neighbors as allies. No Sudan, no Yemen, no Saudi, no Oman, no UAE, we'll be dead to all of them even if they someday, somehow, manage to bury the hatchet with Israel.

I agree fully that Somalis' hatred of Jews makes zero sense and is almost entirely religious as far as I've seen. Jews have done literally nothing to us as far as I know. But if we are to ever dance with Israel; it should be quietly, not very publicly. Regardless of what anyone thinks the Arab world does for us; it's not wise to alienate them by very publicly bro-ing with Israel and giving them the middle-finger. How about if we rely on ourselves, why can't we specialise in agriculture, high tech innovation, industries and etc, what are we sub human, nobody will value us as long as we have such mentality and our land/nation will be no more then a cheap real estate with a new tenant every few years.
