Somalis are the only race who have been colonized by so many different nations yet maintain as they always were. Within one generation post colonialism and all remnants of our colonial past are gone. A sign of a successful colonial campaign is the adoption of the colonial language, culture and religion. All three are minimal or non existent in the 5 Somali regions. Somalis are survivors and I believe if we came out of the world colonial projects intact with out roots, then we will remain as such until the last day
