The Big 5 (Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, and Rhinos), are either in endangered numbers or have been poached to extinction.

Alot of them fled to remote and unpopulated areas of SL/Somalia and or further West, S.West &South to Djibouti, Ethiopia
