It does not even make sense, since the west is the reason why Somalia is not in famine now. If the west stopped their food aid today, hundreds of thousands would be dead in 2 weeks. How are they leaches when they feed you and protect you with Amisom?

The West has also taken in hundreds of thousands of Somalis and will probably take in hundreds of thousands of more by 2020. There could be millions of Somalis in the West by 2050 and their remittances are feeding an entire nation.

"Food aid" has ruined our agricultural sector. If they truly wanted to help the people, they would pay the farmers to invest in their land and to be self-sufficient. Instead they sabotage them by dumping cheap grain on the market when they are harvesting. This is just one of them many examples of an evil action by the west being disguised as something good. When will you get it through your skulls - they are not doing anything out of the kindness of their hearts.

IS is not a major threat over there. Puntland is doing a good job keeping them in the mountains.

Alshabab still has the power to topple the federal government if AMISOM leaves.
