It is not every day us Somalis more so Somali men discuss women of the past or teach their history however small it may be. The threads are about 2 Women, namely Cawrala Cilmi Qurac and Booto Xeydar, that lived in Central Somalia in the late 1800s to the early 1900s in the Ceelbuur region and were active challengers of men and cultural norms.
