Trudeau isn't planning on increasing corporate tax rates. That's what the NDP was planning on doing, but Trudeau campaigned against that.

His chief of staff environmental nutcase is his best friend from high school. He is his Damul Jadiid. He wants a full shut down of all oil and gas projects. Trudeau made a slip a few days ago that he will not approve the EnergyEast pipeline if tge National Energy Board decides if the project can move forward. He doesn't want energy independence in Canada. Provinces east of Manitoba get their oil from OPEC. He is an enemy to the oil sands.
