I saved a chicken before
Found it outside at by the alley.
The neighbors and I twice returned it home. Everyone said the chickens need there wings clipped so they won't fly out the fence.
Made me feel good for the day because I really didn't want to but since having nothing better to do it was silly task but animals are to be safe around me so I do my best.

So they asked a hypothetical question to a bunch of people who wouldn't bang a dead chicken from a grocery store themselves but don't care if others do? Yes it's wrong and weird. But banging chickens and goats and donkeys and camels and other animals that are alive, which is actually a common occurrence in certain countries, is much worse.
