I was just watching a lecture on African literature. When it occurred to me how unqiue of a position that the somali language is in and how we don't really appreciate it. Somali is one of only four african languages ( these are somali, amahric, swahili, hausa) that sees large usage for both literature and offcial communication That's incredible rare .
