what was your best or travel? Mine was when I was traveling by car from Addis Ababa to hargeisa with an uncle 5 years ago. What adventure it was .i was bored of addis,so i decided I want to go on a road trip. I went through many cities such as dire dawa ,jigjiga and Harar. :banderas: Saw many beautiful Things. From Addis to dire dawa the place was so green . Passed by a lake ,saw so many green hills and it was raining:ahh:. Not sure whether I saw a naked tribe on the way:chrisfreshhah:. Traveling on the mountains was the best.:wow1:Just few minutes before reaching jig jiga, (I thought the town was similar in size with dire dawa or larger. I thought dire dawa was a part of the Somalian region and since jigjiga was the capital, it should have been larger than dire dawa) my uncle told me I will see the city when I pass between the two hills. I was excited . When I saw it I was like is this a village?:faysalwtf: It was 5 years back and the city has changed a lot . I want to visit it again
I only stayed there for 3 hours and continued on my way to hargeisa. Sneaked in to somaliland illegally . This was the first time I was in a Somali country and it felt good:ahh:. I was looking forward to see hargeisa . I have been waiting for a long time to visit it. Even though it was different than I imagined , I thought it would be green but it was it had a desert climate desert. I love the city though, I had wonderful moments over there:banderas:. I will be looking forward to visit the cities again but this time with other few cities. This was my second time in Africa and my first road trip there. It was a complete new experience to me. What a wonderful trip I had.:banderas:

Driving through the rocky mountains and camping in one of the national parks is probably my best trip. While you're driving through the mountain range you just can't help but stare in sheer awe at all the mountains surrounding you. They were uncanningly beautiful, magestically grande and their precense simply cannot be ignored if it's your first time going there. In between the mountains there was a lot of valleys and forests. I'm a nature enthusiast I guess, but nothing really piqued my interest in nature again quite like that. Spent my time swimming in fresh water rivers that flowed between the mountains, hiking up the mountains, and I even caught a glimpse of some of the Northern/ Aurora lights that night while we were star gazing. Can't wait to go back.

I didn't take any pics, this was pre-smartphone Era, but I'll post a pic below so you can kind of picture what the place looks like. I know it looks fake, but it looks just like this and even better in real life
