there was someone on X who presented a very interesting scenario if all reer hooyo mataalo were to move back home. We are obviously very different culturally from ppl back home hence why we don’t intermarry or interact with fobs much in the west. If we were to move back we would not integrate well in fact we’d end up creating enclaves exclusively for us. In a short time our enclaves would be safer and more successful than any other part of the country. At some point we would undergo ethnogenesis and become a distinct group.
We would become an endogamous minority that is wealthy and refuses to let others settle in their enclaves, this would eventually inspire the envious fobs to carry out violence against us (they’d be riled up by their own ’elites’)what do you think ?

I'd rather live in the same standard of living that in currently living in. There will be at of culture shock already between Westerns and locs. So having a well built home where I can rest from the stuff going on outside is actually good for me. Also they do have payment options where you can pay off the 200k like a mirage without interest. For instance you can pay 1.2k for 180 installment. That actually a good deal
We would be destroying their lives by moving back. People here in the west already complain about immigration and a lack of jobs. Creating elite enclaves would destroy the balance and from history we already know what that will entail. Using money for corruption and monopolizing everything. Somali teenagers back home could sell young adult diaspora Somalis at their local suuq. I've seen 12-13 year olds be taxi drivers and 18 year olds who already had a wife and kid they were supporting. One time my taxi was stranded out in the desert and some bloody toddlers and their older brother who couldn't have been older than 14 got in our cab and got us out of the pit we were stuck in. These kids are tough.
