“Indeed, with hardship comes ease.” (Surah Ash-Sharh 94:6)
Whatever you're going through—pain, stress, fear, or struggles—remember it’s not the end. Allah didn’t say after hardship comes ease, He said with it. That means while you're suffering, ease is already being written alongside it. It’s just a matter of time before you see it.
But here’s the thing: ease doesn’t always mean the problem disappears. Sometimes the ease is Allah lifting the hardship completely. Other times, the ease is Him giving you a calm heart, sabr (patience), ridaa (contentment), and strength to carry it without breaking. Both are a form of ease and both are from His mercy.
Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: “If you see the doors of difficulty tightening, know that the door of relief is about to open.”
And Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said: “The believer is never afflicted with a trial except that Allah gives him through it a blessing he wouldn’t have had without it.”
Don’t rush the relief. Be patient. Make duʿā. Trust that Allah knows what you don’t. You’re not forgotten, and you’re definitely not alone. Stay firm, stay connected to the Qur’an and your Salah. That’s where the real relief starts.
Tawakkul + Sabr = Victory
Hold on. Ease is already on the way, even if it comes wrapped in patience.
