Violence is subjective. Even if it was objective, you have to look at it from all possible perspectives. Somalia was only about 2 million in 1960. This is an ethnic group that existed for thousands of years. How can an ethnic group where each woman births a dozen children throughout its history be so tiny even when you include famine and disease? It's because they "terrorized" each other for thousands of years. On a per capita basis, Somalis have terrorized themselves and their neighbours way more than the Americans "terrorized" anyone else and more than 90% longer. It's not even close.
I generally go along with Oxbridge, for they are the true natives, and I grew up with them, unlike the convoluted Yankees, and their cousins, the Canucks. Besides, I was after brevity to avoid confusion, but we could work with yours.
We could discuss violence by the Somalis, but could we instead stay with the other question concerning: who is the biggest exporter of violence in recorded history?
Let us then draw a distinction between:
a) freedom fighting for own independence, and
b) terrorism being visited upon others.

Fighting for independence is subjective as well. I don't think the Somalis for example were fighting for independence. Somalis were tricked to allow some narcissistic men to sit on the kursi.
I mean, in general, say in the case of the IRA, Palestine, Polisario, Xinjiang, Taiwan (politically), Vietnam etc.
Whoever is the stronger opponent/winner/better PR has the final and only authority to call the weaker opponent the terrorist. What they say is the truth and fact.
So, if we were to go by that logic, then under invasion and occupation, Canada would be the terrorist?

You should be happy the west controls itself and uses it power for mostly good (99.9% of the time).
