Actually, I feel MtDNA haplogroups are more interesting. Most Somali men have 1 of only 2 haplogroups anyway.

Wait, if his father is the Harari one, why does he have a haplogroup heavily associated with Somalis? Surely he should have J or something since Hararis are allegedly Semitic?

I'm certain my father's family were originally Somali/Arab mixed with Harari. I'm adopted so idk details like that to be honest.
