All the Indo-Aryan R haplogroups I have seen are from one particular bandari clan. I've jet to see it pop up in other clans.

On 23andMe r1a1a makes up the majority of their haplogroup. Some come also back with the indo-aryan specific branch, so I'm guessing many of them fall under this branch.

Sorry, the above is incorrect, I jumped the gun by assuming the Sheekhaals with R are Aw Qutub.

The R ones on 23andme might be the Gendershe Cadcad Sheekhaals for all I know.
