Swap the Islam for Christianity and this project is a republican wet dream. It has all the hallmarks of their ideology as its a small religious independent community that's tight-knit.

Its only on the basis of religon.

It is a bit jarring considering this looks like a small town with a presumably majority Christian population. This just puts a big target on your back. I think building gradually and letting exclaves naturally form is better.

Stop being naive Christianity outside of Utah is dead republicans today are what dems were 20 years ago there just dragging there feet

Texas has lax zoning laws if this was in California NIMBYs would block the project cause they don’t want to reduce the real estate prices in the area or whatever excuse they have this time

No. Somalis are vilified as it is, we don’t need to deal with more drama. @Rocktheboat is correct, doing this in Texas during a republican presidency is crazy. Also, NM is just mexicans, whites and some natives.
Texas is open carry and stand your ground state would advise Somalis to carry republican presidency or not trump made historic gains in Minnesota during the election with the union workers in the iron range who traditionally vote DFL welcoming trumps tariffs And Tim walz making a fool of himself on a national stage chances of Minnesota turning republican are high

If you look at the gubernatorial map of the 2022 election you will see that outside of the iron range and the Twin cities the state is solid red one of the main reasons the republican challenger lost was because of lack of funding with Silicon Valley tech tycoons flooding GOP coffers with cash that will 100% change this time around

@zeilaprime your prediction might come true next November
