That is the thing. So you would not consider them Somali? In that case. Do you have to be half? quarter? So where does the line stop?

No I don't consider them ethnic Somalis, they're Asians even if they lived in Somalia for 1000+ years. They identify as such and they're correct.

When will somalis reach the 1800 in terms of cultural development?

Still arguing about muh clans. Thank God my family is sophisticated enough not to worry about such trivial things.

Exactly.

What does an ethnic Somali have in common with an Omani + Bantu hybrid who coincidentally was absorbed into Somalia.
Nothing in common, I’m surprise that her family allowed a barwani man to marry her.

The thing is that they just did not just live “1000s of years” in Somali lands. They breeded with Somalis unlike the Bantu’s who just live in Somalia who I consider to not be Somali.

My question is due to this fact, how can they not be Somali? Apart from the clanship element.

“This marriage is of such rare occurrence that it can be ignored”

Somali's all do the same thing whether it is marrying the 2nd or 5th cousin pretending that it's limited to barawanis for some reason it's just being dishonest here. Also source your book anyone can drop a page of random book doesn't mean it's the truth

Not all of them are mixed, many are recent migrants in the Omani period 1700-1800s for example. They're racially not Somali for the most part.

So one Barwani can claim they are Somali whilst another can claim they are not? Mad.
