Den Haage court sentenced Ahmed K. a Syrian refugee in the Netherlands to 20 years in prison after been convicted of torturing a Syrian officer in 2012.
Before he went to become a refugee in 2013, he was a member of Al-Nussra Islamic militia group. His name appeared in German criminal investigation in 2016 which the Dutch authorities followed the case till 2019 where the Dutch authorities arrested him.
