This Asian man is talking like his people are doing any better. China has 510 million people that are in poverty and this is without European intervention in their country. Africa has about 330-600 million people in poverty. So China possibly has more poor people than Africa. India definitely has more people in poverty than Africa. The man in the video himself looks like he makes 3 dollars a day at best. Africa is still poor because the Europeans don't want Africa to rise or everything will become more expensive. France Afrique still pays colonial taxes to the French. The former French President said that without Africa, France would be a third world country. France Afrique has had more regime changes than the rest of Africa combined. This stat alone should show you how much power do the Europeans have over Africa. Whenever a leader wants to help his people or he wants more money to subjugate his own people, there will be a regime change.

To pay off the debt they must sell a couple of their national assets to a cooperation to pay off the debt (mines, oil, ports, etc). How can you expect African countries to develop when they are forced to pay debt and colonial taxes which takes a lot of money away from their budget?

Ethiopia is one of the most dishonorable and disgraceful countries in the world. They sold out everyone and they still got occupied/colonized. When Italy began pressuring them, they sold out Eritrea so they wouldn't get colonized. After that detestable act, they began attacking the Dervish State hoping that the British and Italians wouldn't turn on them in the future since they were such a good lap dog. The Ethiopians were the cowards of Africa. While everyone was fighting till they died, these people were selling their own people out.

No this video is clearly about a chinese man adressing issues of Congo. You want to talk about how africans behave in general and we can do that. And to be fair Congo have seen its share of conflicts and prior to that Belgium stole their resources and killed millions of them.
The issue I see with many african cultures is that they have no national pride and they are corrupt culturally speaking. How can French still get taxes from their former colonies unless someone there approved it. In many african cultures there is no concept of the greater good but they only see instant rewards and as the chinese in the video said they dont care about the outcome. So culturally many african countries are behind the rest of the world but there is room for change and improvement.
Your kidding right? Almost all African countries are like Congo. It may not be as deadly but it has just as much development if not lesss. Take somalia for instance, compare it to before independence, did it progress or degenerate?

Somalia progressed and then degenerated and it had a full blown war with Ethiopia that contributed to what we have today. Its estimated that around 15 million people were killed in Congo by Belgium so no every country dont share the same history even though there is similiarities.
