A Lesson From History.

While the useless Federal government and the useless tribal federal states are locked in an ever worsening conflict.

We only need to look at the past on how Somalis solved conflicts and disagreements during a time when real patriots led our country.

Some background information is necessary to understand this ,

When the SYL won a landslide in the 1963 parliamentary elections, the party nominated Cabdirashiid Cali Sharmaarke for the prime minster role ( Which he already was previously), but Aaden Cadde decided to go against the party's wish and choose to nominate another man Cabdirisaaq Xaaji Xuseen to become prime minister and form a new government. This created a rift in the SYL and led to Cabdirisaaq first government not passing parliament's vote of confidence and Somalia being left without a government ( not a state like the 90s and 00s) for 10 months.

This is how they resolved it.

No violence, no killings , no cutting off relations , no forming separate governments. All solved with 2 weeks of talking, people putting aside their qabyaalad and personal gain for a better and more prosperous country.

Thus resulting in the most successful period in recent Somali political history.

I couldn’t care any less about my tribe or somaliland.


The Somali people haven’t achieved much over the past 50 years because of qabyaalad.

The fact that we are one of the poorest countries in the world and the least developed shows that the current system we have not only within Somalia but the system of qabils that we have as Somalis is not working and is the reason why we are in a continuous cycle of conflict and underdevelopment.
