Let me correct you, Syria had no visa policy for Somalis free healthcare, schools, universities even you can open your own business. Same with Sudan till today, Egypt also accepts Somalis refugees plus scholarship program that takes yearly couple of hundred somali students from Somalia.iraq before the war had Somalis workers & students. Only gulf countries that don't accept refugees including Yemen & Syria refugees, it is their policy because of their low population.

Anyone I met that lived in Syria always would tell me a wonderful treatment. One girl who grew up there told me that they would wear military uniform to school just like all the other kids. There was never racism.
