Is there one that exists? I think it would be very beneficial for our community to have a texting app like Whatsapp/Viber that is in Af-Soomaali

If it's successful the developers could add more social media aspects, money transactions, even a Somali-based search engine

A better example would be East Asian apps like WeChat, Naver etc

What is the point when you have countless forums already.

The issue is that they're all western-based websites on western platforms, it would be a good move to become more Somali-centric and become independent of the west

true would have to be done all in the Somali language though to fully get away from western influence
