I'm supposed to be writing a report smfh, but yeah the comment section is just full of AA ooyin about Sudanis, Nigerians, Ethiopians and Somalis.

There are two major groups among Somalis who really get on my nerves. 1) The delusional Somali who thinks his/her fart smells like Christian Dior cadar. They will paint every aspect of Somalia and Somalis as a tremendous success. 2) Self-hating Booty-clappers who laugh everytime Somalis are insulted by some random non-somali and feel the need to shit on their people at every opportunity. They seem to hang around YouTube comment sections and internet forums. They're too cowardly to come out in real life.
Unfortunately, these two groups are very vocal and create a lot of friction with other people and ethnicities.

They are right, some Somalis have a superiority complex. My question is, what is it that makes Somalis feel so superior to other Africans/AA? We are literally doing worse than all of them. Both in Africa and in the West

Somalis number 20 million worldwide, 150k in the US only, AAs number somewhere around 45 million or so. Why do they care so much what we think of them? what have we done to them? we must've hit a soft spot for them to obsess over us like this
Our problems are ours and their problems are theirs, simple. Even if we did care about their problems (we actually do) What difference would it make? we are such a small group in america, it would make no difference. Why should we seek validation from them? Why are they seeking validation from us? We came here 20 fucking years ago, jeez we did nothing to them. Why are do they get so triggered about what we think we are? They should focus more on getting out of the hood and educating their own, because those are their problems, not ours.

Around the world? Nah, miss me with that nonsense sxb. These volatile African Americans need to quit it with the perpetual victimhood, if anything they are their own enemy runti. And as for them being better than Somalis in every sense.. we've only been in qurbo for what? Thirty to thirty-five years or so? We just about scrape a million in terms of those outside of the motherland compared to them who are 40 million strong in the States.
I don't know much about our counterparts in the States but I wouldn't say that they're doing worse than them.

You're right about them having been around in the West much longer and therfore had more time to establish themselves. In hindsight it is quite baffling on why they have advanced so little when taking that into consideration, but i have to correct you on one thing sxb.

Somali American median income: $22,368
Somalis are the lowest earning ethnic group in the US. In Scandinavia it's even worse, 80% of Somalis live on welfare here in Sweden. Same deal in the UK, Somalis are one of the least successful ethnic groups there as well. Call me crazy but i don't see anything worth feeling superior about
