After reading the founder's book, I think he's a decent guy with a good vision. Not very many people would give up a lucrative finance job to work in a backward tribal society, especially one with which the person has a very loose connection (his step-dad was from Somaliland). Somali society is backward, cynical, curropt, too Islamic, and inhospitable--and people are not grateful to do-gooders. If I was him, I would have long ago shut down the school after dealing with b.s (at one point, an angry local clan attacked the school after two cooks were fired for making shitty-tasting food). The fact that he's stuck around, at a school that earns no money for him, says a lot about his good character.

These pictures and accusations of lewd conduct are just absurd and childish.

In recent months Mudane Coldoon has waged a deadly investigation on Abaarso school and what goes on in there. There is apparently a video of Abaarso female students doing bad things in the school released yesterday.
